List of battery safety warnings based on the requirements of General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) 2023/988: * Risk of ingestion: Batteries and small components can be easily swallowed by children. Keep them out of reach of children to avoid the risk of choking or serious internal injuries. * Risk of leakage: Damaged or improperly used batteries can leak, causing corrosion and damage. Regularly check the battery status and avoid overheating them. In case of leakage, avoid skin contact with the electrolyte and thoroughly clean the affected surfaces. * Risk of explosion/fire: Incorrect charging, short circuiting, or exposure to high temperatures can cause the battery to explode or fire. Use only recommended chargers and avoid extreme conditions. Do not throw batteries into the fire. * Environmental protection: Batteries contain substances that are harmful to the environment. Do not throw them in ordinary waste containers. Return them to collection points for used batteries for recycling. * Storage: Store batteries in a dry and cool place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Avoid storing different types of batteries or batteries new and used together. * Disposal: Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local regulations. Do not strip them, crush them or transform them. * Purposeful use: Use the battery only in devices designed for this purpose, according to the manufacturer's instructions. Do not try to power devices that require a different type of battery. * Charging safety: Do not overcharge the battery. Disconnect from the charger when fully charged. Do not leave the batteries charging unattended. * First aid: If you swallow the battery, contact your doctor immediately. The electrolytes contained in the batteries are highly corrosive and can cause serious damage.
