List of safety warnings for small household appliances - Hygiene and care based on the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety (GPSR): 1. General warnings: * Make sure all electrical appliances are used according to the instruction manual. Improper use can lead to electric shock, fire or other injuries. * Do not use damaged electrical equipment. Broken cables, cracked enclosures or other damage can pose a serious threat. * Keep devices out of reach of children. Small components, cables and other parts may pose a choking or suffocation risk. * Regularly check the status of devices. If any damage is noticed, immediately discontinue use and return the device for repair or disposal in accordance with local regulations. 2. Hair dryers, curling irons and straighteners: * Do not use near water. The risk of electric shock is particularly high when electrical appliances come into contact with water. * Do not leave the device on unattended.
